Identify and Silence Your Limiting Beliefs

In Blind Spots, Confidence, Leadership Advice

I have always been weirdly fascinated by people who gain a high level of success and then do something really stupid to mess up their lives and work. Like the story of a celebrity, at the very top of his game, who got a DUI a few weeks ago. This could wreak havoc on his otherwise stellar reputation and career. Sometimes bigger issues are at play, but oftentimes we sabotage ourselves unwittingly because we have a hidden belief that we are not good enough, deserving, or smart enough, or that people will find out we are not as good as they think.

And guess when those beliefs pop up? When we are on top and doing well and about to rise even further. Those insidious little beliefs can run in the background and derail us from what we really want and deserve in life.

Today’s coaching minute is about how to identify your limiting belief and silence it—maybe forever.
