Slow Down to Go Fast: Why Being Busy Doesn’t Make You More Effective

For most of my life and career, I’ve been moving at the speed of sound. Multitasking, juggling a million things, and being what I like to call a “whirling dervish” of a person.

And for a long time, I actually thought that was a good thing.

But over the last year or so, I’ve come to a realization that’s changed how I approach my work, my time, and even how I interact with other people.

The interesting part? It challenged something I’d believed about myself for most of my career.
