Are You Sabotaging Your Own Success?

 In Work Stress

Have you ever noticed that some celebrities make their biggest life mistakes while they are at the top of their game? How often have we watched a super famous person get a DUI, slap someone across the face while the world is watching, or get caught cheating on their spouse (or taxes) right at the pinnacle of their career? As much as we like to think our lives are totally different, those celebrities are demonstrating to us a very human response to success, but ours play out in private (thankfully) instead of publically. Yet if we remain unaware of this human tendency it can wreak equal havoc on our lives as it does for them.

This week’s coaching minute is about how to anticipate, and then avoid, the common saboteur that arises when you succeed at something really important to you.
